You Love Me But You Don't Know Who I Am Lyrics

One more kiss could be the best thing
Or one more lie could be the worst
And all these thoughts are never resting
And your not something I deserve

CHORUS
In my head there's only you now
This world falls on me
In this world there's real...

This song is about a couple that is so happy but the guy finds out a secret about his girlfriend, it can relate to anything in the video its her being a stripper. He immdeiately dumps the girl without knowing the reason why she is a stripper. In the end he drives by her house or in other words finds out that she has a child and that job is the only way that gives of enough money to support her child.

The message is know the whole side of the story and love me and dotn hurt me when you don't know the whole truth about me.

This song was originally written for the soundtrack for Spider-man 2. But, after they finished it they decided to keep it for their next album. I heard this from the band in concert before they play the song.

I haven't seen the video but just from the lyrics alone it comes across to me as a song by a man who falls in love with a woman he knows loves him truly, but he is afraid to commit and feels that fear is reason enough to push her away.

You guys, don't let a video confuse you. Listen to what the song says. Its about a man who finds a woman and is good to her a certain way and she falls for him and would do anything for him, and says she loves him. The situation for the man is that even when she is all he thinks about and wants her, he feels he does not deserve how she loves him or that he deserves her, when he holds himself back on that love because he isn't giving himself completely to her, either because he is hiding a lie or because he has dreams of progressing in life or a career but must abandon it all if he wants to be with her. So he is found between two paths, and even when he feels the love for her is real, the simple fact he won't give in to her because of his dreams or whatever, he wants her to "let him go" so he can move on to what he wants. What he is asking of her is to not love him and forget him, because he knows he will break her heart somehow someway, even as much as he may love her. A similar example is when someone is going to the army and is asking his girlfriend to let him go and move on with her life because the pain and suffering he will cause her isn't worth it.

No this song was written for spiderman. Sorry but when is the last time you saw a video that represented what the song is about. Spider-Man theme, final answer.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I think you're right. The song is just about not judging by the cover. Also, don't fall in love with someone without taking the time to find out who they really are. Spend time, quality time, with someone before you can call them your love.
