This is a song about a black man trying to be a Hugh Hefner wanna-be. It's a really lame attempt to sell music (the genre is lame), so I don't know why it's such a successful song. Too many Chavs for the good of the country is what I say. This song sucks. It's demeaning having women dance around with their asses and boobs hanging out, naming it the 'Candy Shop'. You may as well call it the 'Get your piece of black ass to make a crap rapper famous shop'.

I'm with that guy up there... Stick to the music that you like... If you don't like it you probably don't want to take the time to learn about it therefore you don't know about it... The others are somewhat right too... This song is demeaning... He's obviously more intellegent than you ... He played the game and he played it well... I used to listen to hip hop back when Slick Rick, Roxanne, D-Nice and BDP, NWA, Biz Marki, Brand Nubians, EPMD, and the likes, right up until Biggie was killed. I stopped because it has gotten really bad. It's funny how back then no one said they smoked weed, Rob Base: "Don't smoke buddah can't sex" ,now everybody does. No one is original any more. I can get down with some of it becuase the beats are nice but the lyrics are really bad.

Slick used to give us nice stories, Ed OG was positive by talking about being a responsible man and taking care of your kid and 3rd base was funny. Now EVERYONE degrades women, glorifies voilence, and tell you that you have lots of money and expensive clothes and cars. Too bad the internet wasn't around then.
YOU DON'T NEED ANY INTERPRETION FOR TODAY'S STUFF. It's so straight forward... AND SO SELFISH. Other music, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, for example are selfless. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, they have a song (Sad Statue) where one of the lyrics goes like this, "What is in us that turns a deaf ear to the cries of human suffering?". You don't see that anymore with hip hop. Wu (Wu-Tang Clan)made you think and needed interpretation. BUT IN THE END WHAT 50 DOES SELLS AND THAT'S WHY HE DOES IT, SO GET MAD AT THE RECORD COMPANIES ALSO.
Sorry for babbaling I just had to get it off of my chest because I really miss good hip hop. Cannibus, Wu-Tang (ODB RIP), Sticky Fingas, Black Moon Smiff and Wesson... But I thank you "wack ass rappers" because you've opened me up to other music.

Couple things...firstly I gota agree with username and rebecca at the top. Secondly, I gotta point out how many chicks are against fifty cent because of his views of women.

As for "ramone", yes I'm sure that his songs are about beastiality! I also have 3 ears and live in an Afghani bomb shelter! Oh and did you know? Another brick in the wall is about a guy who had sex with a wall! My cousin's aunts mom/dog told me!

Secondly, to everyone in here who insults 50 Cent - don't do it! This part of the site was made to interpret song lyrics, not say that the music is crap! Go and fight it out in the forums if it means that much to you. For example, someone hates MTV. They didn't put it into an interpretation, they made a forum post out of it! It keeps the two things seperate. It is irrelevant whether you hate someone's music or like it so long as you post what the song MEANS! That's what people come to this section for!

And thirdly, just to fulfil what I said earlier, the song is about 50 Cent going to a brothel/whorehouse and getting laid.

If you are a smart person you will not like this music. It shouldn't be considerd music its degrading shit that should be played or listened to. Sure you can hump someone to the beat of this song and jerk off to listening if you really want to because its just like a porno.

This song is actually really good. What you guys don't know is that every single lyric in this song is a metaphor. 50 cent is trying to express his concern on America's view on sex. This is very clear. Or maybe not....

I can't believe I heard my sister signing this. She is 9 years old. This commercial rap is destroying this country. All 50 cent and his rappers do in this song is rap about sex, porn, and how he is amazing in bed.
50 cent and every other materialistic rapper you will see on MTV nowadays are promoting the negative stereotype of the black community.
He got shot 9 times. Is that something to be proud of? He claims to have killed 2 people. You own 50. He is "gangsta".

This is commercial rap at its worst. No one on Earth should listen to these rappers. You can't get any more commercial than 50 cent. Don't let these idiots fool you there is some decent rap music out there ( Jurassic 5, The Roots, Nas). There are rappers out there who do have a brain, and refrain from repeating every single lyric of being gangsta, ho's and money.

No one should ever buy 50 cents music. The only people i'd expect to buy his music are under 12 year olds and retards. Seriously this guy should just go walk in front of a moving train.
