This song is about a hitman, and his line of work. He (Bon Scott)asks of the problems and introduces himself and what he does. "you having trouble with your highschool head, he's giving you the blues" "pick up the phone I'm always home call me anytime, just ring 36 24 36 I lead a life of crime" And it goes on to tell about the price of deed is not expensive.

yes, it is about a hitman. but the inspiration for the song actually came from a cartoon character in the show "Beany and Cecil", that angus watched as a kid. the characters name was "Dishonest John", and he handed out business cards that said "dirty deads, done dirt cheap. sundays and holidays, special rates"
