In this songs Alex compares roses with tulips...
"crystal clear I see the rose is frail.... ...Let me be captivated by your beauty, then let me fall from your grace.." ---> roses have thorns and Tulips donīt!!
So it says tulips are better..

I think in this song he compares all the peaople with roses,or letīs say all the Liars...

"Your thorns caress my flesh: Crimson drops on a snowy field..(LIAR)..."

hmm.. Itīs difficult to explain but in some kind of way I can understand whatīs the main message of this song..!
