I Fell" in reference to "I...Hand", but it's not listed here, so I'll do it in reverse: The opening verse of "If I Fell", ends : "Cause I've been in love before/and I found that love was more/than just ***holding hands***." A great way to tie a longer story together by referring to an previous song. Not blatent, it can stand alone, still excellent without realizing the tie-in, -and-, as is the case with many Lennon-McCartney lryics, it can be enjoyed as a sincere plea, -or- with a wink. (Incidentally, this tune firmly establishes the Beatles as the last of the great old school composers in the classic popular song form.
