    everyone here thinks this song is about the war in iraq. that is but a small part of the true meaning of this song. this song refers to the fight against racism that took place in our country. it talks about how kids are getting involved in gangs and caught up in a whole lot of crap that should be avoided. people are being killed form these decisions people are being hurt nothing good is coming from the surplus of hate that this country has for numerous and absurd things such as war in iraq when we should not be there anymore. we are worrying about problems that are occurring in other countries rather than fixing out situation. we need to fix our situation. we cant be going to war as it says in the song "if you practice what you preach then you turn the other cheek" this is not only referring to war but also minor issues that take place here in the united states whether it be racism or anything at all. this song is basically calling out all of the hatred and all of the un-needed crap that takes place in todays society

    Racism is being expressed in violent/humiliating methods nowadays.

    "As I'm gettin' older, y'all, people gets colder
    Most of us only care about money makin'
    Selfishness got us followin' our wrong direction"

    Materialism is getting more common. Making money seems to be the most important thing in people's minds now.

    "Wrong information always shown by the media
    Negative images is the main criteria
    Infecting the young minds faster than bacteria
    Kids wanna act like what they see in the cinema"

    It seems that the youth are easily influenced by the media. This leads to the rise in juvenile crime and violent acts.

    The song is about exactly what the title is asking. Where is the love?

    The bible says: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

    Look around you. Think about the relationships you have with people. Is it really love?

    This song is telling us what this world of ours is turning into without love, true genuine love. It states all these awful things that are going on in the world. Not to bring you down nor to make you feel guilty BUT to open your eyes. To love people. Not just your family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend. To selflessly love others as well.

    the meaning behind this song is for people to wake up to how we are treating each other .. thats sounds obvious but what i mean is that we are all connected to each other in this world.. just imagine if the world were a place of peace where we did all treat each other with love "TRUE LOVE" the kind that has no oposite, stop listening to the media as it only wants us to feel fear , governments keeping things secretive from us and so on .. this is not something we should worry about it is something we should understand and once we do then we then step into our own power, seeking the love for ourselves and others once we achieve this it spreads ppl wake up and start operating at a higher level of counisness, all that controling by governments and false message from media becomes useless and powerless to our being :) all is one and one is all lets stay focused on treating each other with love as it is the highest vibration this is where miricals happen this is where we unite and change the world as we know it, this is where the lyrics of this song dont become fiction or unacted on THIS IS WHEN THOSE LYRICS BECOME OUR WAY OF LIFE !

    Where in the song it says The bloods and the Crips and the Klu Klux Klan referred to as the K.K.K when it says this it means the bloods are the murders, the Crips are the gangsters and the K.K.K (where an extremist group in the U.S.A and racist towards African Americans.)

    When I heard this song, I though about all the wars which America starts.
    "But we still got terrorists here livin'
    In the USA, the big CIA"
    And when I saw the kids playing that game in the video, it made me think that kids are drawn in violence in poorer families.

    Whoever wrote the essay with the lyrics is a retard. You got 40% of the lyrics wrong and you don't even know the words in the chorus.     This song is an observation of how the world is becoming : more corrupt and hate-filled. If you read the lyrics, you understand easily that it talks about how most people are worried about war overseas while we should really be worrying about the violence and the problems that arise in our country.

    It also talks about the disintegration of the society'values.

    This song is basically calling out all of the hatred and all of the unneeded crap that take place in today’s society. It is a reminders that love dispels anger.

    This is a magic story of life why do i call it magic story.

    In this world i have seen many people suffering in their hard life old men , women and too many orphans ­+ homeless ,
    Please don't cry, like my mom said, ''don't cry for me when am gone no point of wasted tears your time will come'' or our time will come one day and i'm just confronting my fears though it's not really a fear it's more like a destiny some time i sit and wonder is this life really for all of us because i have seen heard , felt i'm not done . with this life coz i will try to help one day for these who are in need
    i know there are some people in good life but remember i hope your proud of where you are. yet some people out there , are in tears, like my let mom told me that '' there is No replay of your life son when you see the dreak has started and every one have all departed from you and there is no repaying you i'm here and i feel like i'm delaying you, betraying you and when i'm gone i hope there'll be some one to save you, because life is like a game''.
    I knew there will be some one to save me , but since my mom passed a way i realized that no one would help me but still they wouldn't support us in our sorrow life when i was still with her i mean ( the LET one) before but when we tried to live our life right with my mom and only friends who supported us in hard life we had in 2001 we had sorrow , suffering life but only my supporters and my friends how can tell what i want though, they tried to understand our sorrow life,. my mom she used to work very hard from place to place to get food and some times she used to work for people to get where to sleep , i can't tell there is a times we used to keep drinking water and dry tea just for our protection. like i said from the start some people in my country or your country i hope they are proud of where they are living, they eat well , sleep well, drink clean water, they dap down some food please remember there are people who are in need of such things out there .

    One day i hard a dream, i was in the mountain then the Voice of my mom came down from the sky said '' Omar tell the world the truth about our life i will be happy my son, use your head try harder to help and stop them'' i never knew what she menet, to stop them after some times i tried to understand that meaning but i didn't . i had to re-evaluate my thoughts and think about what my mom was meaning , i had to keep on praying and strong faith and believing that never no one day i will be well with my mom, but still it wouldn't come too easy for me and my mom and my friends who supported me,
    so when you hear some people calling my an orphan just let them call because we want through Hell and back but still i never knew what my mom menet in the dream i had ,
    again i had a dream in the same place still i had a Voice of some one whom i used to play with in my life, whom i knew again '' said Omar the dream you had, it was the blessed voice of your mom ,. that you have the Gift to writ or tell the people the truth about life in most of African countries, i know .
    she knew they couldn't believe in me when i tell them, so she told me to writ the true stories with the meaning in life you have ever seen or been in Omar''

    I remember one day in 2008 i was sitting with my mom she looked at me and asked me '' why are you too silent?'' , i really looked at her i started crying i told her, please i can't slow down this suffering life, by that time my mom was sick for 2 weeks and we had no any help i was the only son she had i had no dada no sister, no brothers,, i was young i had No any Job , we had no Money , so whenever i could eye on my mom on the bed i could cry, it is true i had a friend in Canada but by then she was still young too 18 years old and she was still studying , i couldn't tell her all what am going though with mom here because i never wanted to give her hard time and i could not beg her money for helping my mom coz she was too sick, but we had the same minds and Heart we could wait for help to come coz i had told her about the friend i had got in Canada , so when i could go to talk to my friend, mom could always say send her my greetings only , my mom have never ever asked her for help coz she know , she was till young too.
    I could tell mom that what are we going to do a i have never studied, i have no a job what are we going to do mom? all people have departed from us mom no one can hear us whenever we cry our problems, i cried and she cried too, she told me, ‘‘Omar it's okay don't cry even if you cry still the world will turn more and more silent for you and she told me that you will be ok, i said what about you MOM? she said '' growing old my dear and you are still young'' i said no please mom you are just 46 years old , you are still with my i love you .
    my friend came at where we used to stay he found me crying i where sitting near my mom, the friend i had was an old man He asked my mom what had happen to me, mom told him our livings , the old man told my mom the same words she have ever told me before ,. he said my dear girl don't cry their is no point of wasted tears your time will come and you both will be okay .

    I can't forget how we use to be, so sometimes i guess i got live my life from day to day hoping maybe she will come back and though i tell myself not to be afraid to move on but it seems i can't. i just remember when she used to call me in the middle of day ''Omar come and eat'' but now i sit and wait for that moment .I know I’ll see you again
    One thing that I can promise, that we gone meet up again
    Hopefully in heaven, praying' that am not forgiven
    For everything that I’ve done, and everything I forgot to mention when you where here mom
    so i really feel so bad to be without my homie like you mom
    And every since you've been absent I’ve been so lonely,.
    I ask myself
    Why does my life cycle round like a trophy
    Even though know somebody took the time to save me yet she is gone
    i wish that you could just keep me 'til the end of us together but it's just crazy

    And i know she will never get the chance to see how good I’ve done and she never got to see me back in the same life we had together all i can say

    I remember when she used to tell me what to do, I thought you were so strong mom whenever i could see you, that you can make it through whatever
    It's so hard to accept the fact you're gone forever mom , I never knew I could hurt like this but now everyday life goes on like,.

    I wish I could find a way try not to cry
