   What I got out of the song (and this is only my opinion) was that you have to see the bigger picture. It may not look like the hardship will end, you may think that you'll never be happy again, but their is always a light at the end of the tunnel.    This song is about how society is based only on how successful we are but all of us don't have the same skills. so is it fair to judge people on how we look or how wealthy we are? People try to make themselves look more then what they are because being judged unfairly. And then he is showing sympathy for all who have less and if he had the power he would change how society works to make it fair for everyone privileged in circumstance or not.

   I think its about people who are not treated equally, who stand out from the crowd, are bullied, about racism. It's dedicated to those people so they know they're not alone, there are others like them. It's dedicated to those who mistreat people so they know its not going to make them cool.
