This is my favorite Dylan track, brilliant poetry.

"It can't be this way ev'rywhere.
And I'm gonna let you pass,
Yes, and I'll go last.
Then time will tell just who fell
And who's been left behind,
When you go your way and I go mine."

There are a lot of subtle nuances regarding him having taken about enough in a relationship, and he makes his point with a certain dignity and self respect, love it.
