Relationships built on lies often end badly and hurt people. In "Too Many Faces," we see a relationship that is built on a lie. In the bridge - "So many sides to you, nobody knows the truth, How you ever gonna keep it straight? I know what you're all about, I've got you figured out" - we can infer that the guy in the relationship is obviously involved with many other women. He has many different faces, different personas that are all part of one big lie. He doesn't really care about her, he uses her and all the other girls he is involved with - he toys with their feelings.
