about the whole 6x thing... If you seperate it out into eights (like binary is supposed to be) you would have to take out two numbers... but when you do it just translates to, "?±Ö:ÇXë" Yeah, I think they were just trying to make us lok retarded by searching for what it means xD

actually while the band says it doesn't mean anything, i find it might be an atomic weight for one of the larger atoms, which would be some sort of heavy metal, a pun of sorts... just a thought...

So it sounds to me like noone is attempting to interpret the whole song, but everyone's focused on the numbers. Here's what I've come up with: The song is about a time where horrible robots are in control of human society. Among the robots one arises (or is built, or whatever) who is sentient and has cognitive thought beyond it's mere programming. It's only a matter of time before a religion is started, worshipping this giant metal man as a god. Churches have their usual fundraisers and other activities in the name of the new and almighty god, 10001110101. That's right, I think it's the name of the robot god!

The part of the song before the first "10001110101" appears to be the output of a Markov Chain Algorithm. I'm not sure if that counts as a song interpretation, but it seems to me like a good explanation of "Robot Lords of Tokyo, SMILE TASTE KITTENS!"

I agree that this song is a tribute to the band Rush...In addition to "Temple of Syrinx" being a song on the 2112 album, Rush also has a song called "The Body Electric" about a robot that is trying to "change his program" and the chorus of that song is "1001001 SOS...1001001 in distress". Pretty clear reference if you ask me considering the Clutch song references "robot lords of Tokyo".

Between my computer friends and I ... we first discovered that it doesn't mean a thing in binary code.
I, not a geek but Linux is my code, am of more of the medical/psy/scientific nature, w/ 3 degrees....
state that the "periodic table" has everything to do with it along with the normal Clutch message that is given in all of their songs.

Anywhoooo.... I do believe that there is a message that reveals we should never over analyse things (e.g. The Bible or other teachings/speeches).

00000100 01110101 converted to ASCII is the letter "u". You drop the preceding zeros before the 100. Now the letter "u" in the periodic tables is uranium.

When he says "Uranium" Periodic table with a center piece of mind… he's talking about the Atomic Bomb.

Ribonuclic acid I believe is a reference to the DNA of the people who suffered Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

It's a song about hacking computers I think. All of the refrences are there i.e. "bake sale of the year" " ain't nothing you can do about it" "shackles of atomiton" "royal hunting grounds" etc. It's about a huge hack.

Well, the phrase, "Periodic table with a center piece/peace of mind." seems to have "piece" to me. That would cause it to be a pun, calling the periodic table a literal table, with a center piece. That proves this irrelevant.
Robot Lords of Tokyo, the band.
Temple of Syrinx, referring to the woman who was turned into water reeds, and these look similar to wheat, thus meaning that it is harvesting her as wheat and selling her off as food. Another joke.
Did you not know that the royal hunting grounds are always forbidden? refers to robin hood: men in tights, when the kid was hunting in the forest.
10001110101 Half a mind to double up, baby. Three times is jive. means that it is a problem with too many 1's & 0's.
Like them little bitty babies in the king cakes. refers to the Mexican equivalent of Cinco de Mayo, where cake is served and there is to be one woman and one man that find a toy baby in their slices, and they are crowned "king" and "queen" of the party.
Man alive the jive and lyrics, Radioactive, don’t come near it. Is describing a man so energetic, he's "radioactive". look it up, it's a term.
The shackles of automata will shatter like their bones. Is saying the uprise of the robots, showing real emotions rather than imitating them (automata, the theory of machines doing commands by the direction of numbers, nothing more, is broken from, and the robots become alive, the bone part which is contained in fossils).
Bonnie & Clyde the whole dome. Is in reference to the phrase, "open up the whole dome," which in turn is showing the story of Bonnie and Clyde and them being killed by--the cops I think?

Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) is the genetic material of the retro-virus, and thus "Ribonucleic acid freak out, the power of prayer" explains an out-of-control virus spreading, and people are praying for the power of God to save them. "Long halls of science and all the lunatics committed there" is a continuation of the previous line, describing the people in labs trying to find a cure and how the power of the cure these people have is driving them crazy.
