Simply saying that just because all this is happening to him he isn't going to collapse under it. None of the bad things means that he's "lost" just a little physically lost but he has faith he'll win. He's basically saying even though all this bad stuff is happening to me, I'm confident I'll figure it out just right now i'm sort of lost and wandering because "every river i tried to cross...every door was locked..." and I'm just waiting for the "shine" (to me it's kinda like fog) to clear up so that I can't start looking again. Great lyrics!
