My husband chose this song our wedding for our first dance. At first it sounded like a break up song, then I really listended to it and heard what it made me feel. We are both really young and have never had a great life, this song tells a story about two people that want to be together but have been hurt before by eachother or others. They just can't keep away from oneanother inspite of all the past hurt. He wants to give love one more shot cos' he can't be without the way it makes him feel. They both know there is a chance it could all fall apart but minus the broken hearts they are so inlove....what the hell, they give it another chance of being sweept off their feet..

This song is written from the point of view of a broken man who has had his heart broken too many times. Now he has found Love once again and he is hoping that it will last forever.

I think its beautiful that a man can write so tenderly saying how she 'swept' him off his feet, this shows that he is completely in love her so much so that he almost feels like floating
