In the beginning it David is saying how the government set us up to keep there family tree rich and powerful at the cost of us as people dying. Then he saying that they set it us up so good that is make it so much easier to lead. Then the chorus is showing us how we feel by the effects they created then he saying thet do what the hell they want with out warning and then he explains the (Dark forces ) tragedy in our life makes it impossible to see the big picture the he asks us did they even have a reason why and that can they even comprehend whats happing to us then he solo is basically our reaction to how we feel angry or mad by everything happing then the chorus again. The whole song is basically about American Government controlling us with lies and set up events ( 9/11) is an example for some of us. Personally if I where yo and you want to find out more what he is talking about Read the book beholde a pale horse by William Cooper or atleast look up the Illuminati conspiracy which is really much true and then from there do research on what ever you find.

Being Dave is of Jewish decent, this song's lyrics can relate to the happenings of the Holocaust. It makes sense if you look at it in that way.

The verses are being told from the point of view of tyrannical governments controlling and oppressing the people. The choruses ask the people when it will it be enough to fight back, where the line is drawn. Do they even have a reason why not to stop the oppression and fight back when the government is killing people to stay in power? The pain will continue to grow, for all the generations after you, as well as the governments power, so now is the best time to fight back.

This song is "A message to the world leaders. Letting them know about the pain they caused by all the people who have fought and died in war and asking them,"Isn't death alone a good enough reason to stop all of this conflict?"
