In the song the lead singer writes very demonic lead lyrics which leads me to believe, (along with supporting evidence including current themes and the suicide of his ex-girlfriend) that the main character has a girlfriend who commits suicide, in the song the devil "appears" to him in a dream and tells him that if he wants to be with her again he must suicide himself. In the end it is a message to help you choose your partner correctly because anything can happen

This song is obviously about a friend of David's (probably girlfriend) who killed herself.

I saw disturbed last night and they played this song and he stated that "its about a girlfriend from his teenage years he walked in and found her dead and he said he had voices in his head telling him to kill himself to be with her" quite sad really he went on to do a speech about suicide prevention.

The song is about David Draimans girlfriend/friend who committed suicide and the Devil is trying to get him to commit suicide and give his soul to him so he can be with her again.

This song is about the ultimatum of suicide after a great loss. The person's loved one has commit suicide and he is deciding between living, or giving everything away to begin another time with her.

this song is about a guy who comes home to find that his girl friend is dead and so he feels so alone without her like he is the only one left in the world. so he gets up the nerve to battle with his mind between killing himself with a gun on the wall. at the end of the video as soon as he puts the gun in his mouth it cuts of to where he is in a strait jacket in a white room.

From David, "It's about me standing over the body of my girlfriend who has just killed herself and the speaking voice in the song is the voice ofthe devil speaking to me over my shoulder trying to convince me to take my own life as well so I can still be with her in the afterlife. Based on a true story when I was 15 years old."

It's about his girlfriend/friend killing herself as stated above.its from the devil's point of view trying to tempt him to kill himself to be with her.
