This song is about paranoia and the 'voices in his head'. In the video, it shows a businessman being plagued by David Draiman (lead singer), convincing him to get out of there. It does it from both points of view: the businessman and Draiman. Eventually, he leaves and goes to a Disturbed gig. In my opinion, the whole album (The Sickness) is amazing. Buy it if you want a change in metal music.

I agree with the above interpretations. The song is obviously talking about some sort of mental disorder. Schizophrenia commonly includes "hearing voices" and seeing strange.. Things. o.O But it sounds like a wicked voice within your head telling you to do "some freaky shit." It's strange how it always uses first person, when talking about the person and the voice. Just caught my attention. Peace!

Written about the internal voice in our heads, our subconscious. The comparison of our own battles with it as compared to the mind of a serial killer who is also driven by voices, only to much more extreme ends.

This is a song about the "voices" in one's head and how you shouldn't listen to them or they'll "make you do some freaky shit" and "someone's gonna die".

I feel that the person above me is wrong. To me this song preaches that one should learn to identify the meaning to the voices in ones head, and then do what you wish once you learn yourself. The person above me obviously has watched the music video one too many times.

No, mine's right, it came from David himself.

I think this is about someone who has multiple personality disorder, because of how they describe it...giving into the voice, becoming one, and such.

No, the point is that its not a disorder that creates these thoughts, we all have them. What separates us from them is whether we listen to that voice.

David Draiman said on M.O.L., their movie, that one day he was watching a special on the Discovery Channel about serial killers that was talking about how they have a voice in their head that compels them to do bad things. He says that it's not much different from you or me, except that we don't let the voice take control of us to that extent, we just let it tell us to drink a little more or smoke a little more.

I agree with the above people. But in the video I think David is the voice. He is saying to the business man, if he doesn't do the things he tells him to do, or he'll be paranoid and probably wind up dying.

Well the people above me are very much true, but i beleive they could be hinting towards being cranked out. Because for one the guy is hearing voices, and then they ask are you breathing? Which anyone whose done meth might know what im talking about. Not only that but the guy snaps in the music video unexpectingly, similar to someone getting cracked out.
