Knee high to a man, speakes for itself. a piece of mama, daddy never had. dont take too much working out does it.
"Philadelphia Freedom" is indeed about Billie Jean King, one of the first big-time athletes to be "out". She was the head coach of the Philadelphia Freedoms of World Team Tennis, and as such was the first woman to coach a pro team including male athletes. Elton credited her with being one of the people who gave him the courage to come out himself. This gave him the "peace of mind my daddy never had."
