Oh my god is f**king right. He loves his bro almost as much as halle.#1 annonomous is wrong!!!!!!The song dates back to his childhood when his mom did drugs and abused him.Fyi,the only reason he raps with so much anger is because he cares what other people think.Otherwise he would be like will smith and not be as big.The title means he has skeletons in his closet and he tries and tries to clear his beef with his mom but she doesn't care.So he is telling his mom that although he is sorry for discracing her name in all of his albums, she diserves it.

Oh my god!!!
Marshal doesn't hate his brother (first of all) his mom kept Nathan from him and em's like give it up mom, Nathan's gonna leave you too "Nathan's growin up so quick he's gonna know that you're phony"
But the major thing the song is about is how his mom lied to him, mentally abused him, physically abused him... And he's like sorry mom, I don't want everyone to know this, but I have to get it off my chest "I'm sorry mama, I never meant to hurt you, I never meant to make you cry but tonight I'm cleanin out my closet"
Like, the term "I got some skeleton's in my closet..." he's sayin that there's stuff about his childhood that nobody really knows, but he needs people to know
there...

It's about how he hates his mom, and how he wants his daughter and his brother to have nothing to do with her. He also talks about how he doesn't want to ruin his daughters life like his dad and mom did to him. He doesn't hate life, and he's not apologizing. This is his way of saying "Mom, you ruined my life and there's no way of making it right. for that, you will never see your granddaughter and now I'm gonna tell the whole fucking world about what you did to me. Now the world hates you. Happy?" She deserves it

This song is Eminem pouring his heart out. He is getting everything off his chest and settling everything he can with his mom. He's waiting for the day that his brother comes to the same conclusion he has, that mom doesn't care. She is just a junkie that only cares about getting her fix, but the hole time she has made them think it was about them. Everything Marshall discovers about his mom, breaks his heart, even though he plays it off as it don't matter. And everything she does eats away at him, but its his job to act like everything's OK and to apologize like nothing's wrong, he is saying those days are over!

Doode, ROLLINGSTONE...I clearly don't know your life...
but eminem lets his anger out in his songs... I've started doing that too...
I write shit about my mom cause she's an alcoholic/drug addict....
it fucking hurts to see you're mom like that and have no where to turn...
my dad died over a year ago...so I do know. I don't think you understand em's music.

Okay, eminem is talking about when he was growing up.
duh...
His mother abused him and used him in more ways than one and so much so that he cannot forgive her because he's tired of having to deal with her sh*t
he loves his brother so much and he is waiting for when he actually discovers what their mom is all about-drugs and alcohol.
And about Hailie, whom he mentions in mostly all of his songs, Marshall/Eminem loves her very much and he doesn't understand how his dad could have left him-especially when he looks at Hailie and sees how much she means to him and he he could never leave her even if he did/does hate Kim.
he is trying to "clean out his closet", or "get things off of his chest"[[c'mon people, have you never heard these expressions??]] and get over the things that his mom did to him that hurt him so much
but he just can't seem to do it because of how badly it hurt him on the inside, which is why Hailie will never meet his mother-because he doesn't want Hailie to get hurt, first of all, and he wants to get back at his mother
Which I could understand if you look at it from his point of view.

Alright guys let us get a couple things straight about Em's father because there was an article about it in Rolling Stone a few years ago.
Eminem's father was interviewed by Rolling Stone and his father talked about what happened to the situation when he left his family.
They were living in a motel at the time and Mr. Mather's had left to go out somewhere, I want to say the supermarket but I cannot recall exactly. Now, he came from wherever he was and his son was gone along with his mother. His father has tried to reach out to him but Em won't here none of it. Eminem was corrupted by his mother to believe that his father was evil and deceitful just as I was by my mother. Eminem never had the opportunity when he was young enough to clear things up with his father like I did.
This song is basically what most people are talking about, his mother and how she tortured him and always held him back. However, he does try to wipe the slate clean but there is so much hatred for what she had done to him and she made him struggle.
I don't think it is "Cleaning Out My Closet" but it relates to this song. Eminem legit sits there and says he does not owe his mother anything and that he has accomplished everything on his own. If you look at it, because of the way he was raised by his mother he turned out to be the greatest rapper alive, greatest rapper ever. For that he really should be eternally grateful.

Ok, first of all, Rollingstone... you're a fucking idiot... Does your mother pop pills and poison your food? 'Cos Marshall's mum did! Numerous claims have been made against her by coworkers and friends, saying that she had Munchhausen Syndrome and if you don't know what it is then find on google, Dickhead...
