I think tis song is about how whoever she was with, put her through a lot, and now that it's over, she finally sees what he's been doing to her, and doesn't regret leaving him. But he, on the other hand, wants her back only because maybe he doesn't want her leaving with bad thoughts about him, he wants her to leave with good thoughts, thoughts that aren't full of hate, and that's the only reason he wants her back. But she's not going back to him. She has no regrets after finally seeing how badly he treated her.
