I guess it's about a person who is depending on(right grammar?) the 'talker' and gives her much responsibility, but she can't bear it and tells the person that the weight is too heavy and the person should let go off her if that person really loves her. Or the talker was everything the person wanted her to be, but she says, that her old self is nothing to her anymore, so the person should let her live her life.

It s a plea to her fans who expect comfort to her goth music but she says if they really love her they should let go those depressing feelings and music cause she has a new perception of life...

I forgot where I saw it, but Amy said the song was about how people take the band's songs a mite too seriously and base their lives around them, like suicide and the like, and how it bothered her.
