   I think it's about how this hot girl celebrates her sixteenth birthday and invites her boyfriend along, only he sets his hair on fire with the 16 candles by mistake and the girl laughs at him so the boy slaps her and says, "I don't blame you for being you, but MY HAIR IS ON FIRE!"
   
   And then she punches the boy so hard he dies on her front porch, and he sighs and moans ... AFTER he dies. So the girl gets freaked out and starts saying, "ARGH!!" and all the Spirits of the Dead says to the dead boy, "Kiss her!! Kiss her!!"
   And the girl says, "NO! Why don't you just drop dead?!"
   And the boy says, "I AM dead."

   I think it's about a guy and a girl that have spilt up, but the guy wants to get back with the girl but she's not interested, hence the line "I'm sleeping on your folks porch again, dreaming, she saidx3 why don't you just drop dead".    I totally agree that this song is about a boy who is in love with a girl and doesn't want to rush into the realtionship or pressure her. However his friends want him to hurry up and "Kiss her, kiss her" and and make him aware that he is acting slowly.    i think it's about a guy who really likes and belives he is in love with this girl and wants to take it slow with her but everybody is pressuring him to go faster and how he will do anything for her and he just obsesses over her 24/7
