I think this song is all about remembering the past that wasn't so good like the time Pete had the whole exposed thing and his suicide attempt. He's trying to look forward to the future but it's hard to since all he seems to see is the past.

I believe Pete said it was about two lovers that aren't really lovers any more, but they do the woohoo still. And they wanna move on with their lives, but it's hard.

Thnks Fr Th Mmrs makes perfect sense the way it is spelled. Because its like he's not taking out the time to actually spell it or say it because it didn't mean anything, either to him or her.

When they say "he tastes like you only sweeter" he's quoting what the girl said. Its even put in quotation marks in the cd jacket.

My interperetation of the song is that Pete is sleeping with this girl because that's the only way he knows how to keep her. And I definitely think that the part where he says "I've been looking forward to the future, but my eyesight is going bad" means that it has worked long enough, but he dosent know how much longer it will. And he's scared she's going to leave. So he's saying "thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so great" because that's not how he wanted the relationship to be. Kinda like in Fame < Infamy where he says "I'm alright in bed, but I'm better with a pen". Come on, Pete Wentz has so much more to offer.

Um to clear things up, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs is the way its written on the album...so I don't know what album you have Paniqluv, but mine says Thnks Fr Th Mmrs...

Anyways, I'm still really confused about the song meanings, but I'm guessing the people with the Chris theory are right

Well, If what the earlier poster said about Panic!'s song that has a line in it from closer, that could be FOB's way of addressing the point that people call them Panic! wannabees.

The text messaging theory and the panic! reference are both supported by the music video, although videos aren't the most accurate way of interpreting the song. I do however think it's actually directed against the fans and media, who turned their backs on FOB for Panic!

From what I read and what I heard in the song. It's about A guy angry at the girl cause she moved on yet he still feels for her, desire, he tells her his is a better F**k then the other guy. Like tell her what she is missing out on.
And "He tastes like you only sweeter" Is from the girls perspective, maybe retaliating from the point that the guy says he is better for her then the other guy, also its a line from the movie "Closer" Which another one of their songs refers too, maybe they really like that movie or something. And the title being short, yeah I think it was done to shorten things up but then after they realized it looks like a text and heck let people think that its interesting. This song makes everyone think, and its good when you try to figure it out but the only ones who really know the true meaning are the ones who wrote it, you can write something and sing it and you will have your meaning and the listeners might have another, it might be close or it might not, but everyone perceives differently. Its what you think it's about. Find it out on your own maybe it means something to you. I am ranting Sorry.

Well, judging by the music video, I think this song is about how all the producers/people who manage and direct F.O.B. are a bunch of monkeys and keep kicking them when they're down and treating them like babies. Then again, that was a really stupid interpretation.

Everyone knows this is about how they're all depressed because of the vicious FATcycle:
1.They're hungry
2.They eat
3.They eat
4.They feel bad
5.They eat more to fill the void
6.They eat

and so on.
The lyrics should be interpreted as metaphores for food and hunger:

-"One night yeah and one more time..." = "Last night's banoffee pie was oh SO good."
-"Thanks for the memories" = "Good times. CAKEE."
-"Even though they werent so great" = "I prefer chocolate"
-"He tastes like you only sweeter" = ("He" being the chocolate and "you" being the banoffee pie, I think you can get it from there.)

-"In hotel rooms" = "Room service"
-"Collecting page six lovers" = (Page 6 being the dessert menu)
-"Get me out of my mind" = "CORRRR I could do with a sneaky shot of hot fudge"
-"Get you out of those clothes" = (Taking off wrappers, "you" being the fudge/taking off clothes after eating too much)
-"I'm a letter away" = "....from getting another chocolate bar"
-"From getting you into the mood" = "For making you hungry."
-"Woah" = No explanation needed.

This song is about how Patric was cheated on. The keyboard player from the first band was the guy she cheated on him with. 'he tastes like you only sweeter' was from a movie with John Cusack were the his girlfriend cheats on him and tells him that line and Patric's girlfriend though the line was so clever and it was the movie they saw on there first date.

This is written without vowels in response to Island's suggestion of dumbing down the lyrics and making the song titles shorter. Pete has said it's about people who were in love and aren't anymore and are just having sex for the fun of it.

Go watch the movie closer, Thnks pretty much summarizes it

Also, the song hints on what people THINK fob is like "collecting page six lovers" is a reference to gossip columns.

This song is about when Pete slept with this guy's girlfriend a long time ago. "say a prayer but let the good times roll" this means that he new its wrong to cheat but he wanted to risk it and have a good time anyway "in case god doesn't show". "I want these words to make things right" he apologised to her boyfriend, "but its the wrongs that make the words come to life" but wasn't really that sorry about it. "who does he think he is?" is what the girls boyfriend wrote on his MySpace "if that's the worst you got better put your fingers back to the keys" means that if that's the worst he can insult him, he should try again. "thanks for the memories" he enjoyed it,, "even though they weren't so great" but suffered the consequences. "he tastes like you only sweeter" is the girls quote, that's what she told him after.

"This crystal ball is always cloudy except for when you look into the past, one night stand" this means he's not gonna do it again in the future even though he enjoyed it.
