I agree that it's about the Chris lady moment. But at first I really thought it was so gayish. Like, even quoted "he tastes like you only sweeter" could've been a statement addressed to the ex. Maybe, Pete told it to the girl because he tasted Chris better. Wtf. This is so wrong!

I only turned 13 yesterday and, my opinion of the meaning of the song, may not be right. So here it goes.

I think this song is about a guy who has a girlfriend that was cheating on him by his best friend. And this is about him singing about her (he tastes like you only sweeter) he threatens to hurt her because he really likes her (I'm going to make you bend and break) because he thought those good times with her are going to be good memories, until he caught her cheating.


BAD INTERPRETATION, BUT IT'S WORTH SOMETHING THAN NOTHINg.

But it's for wrongs that make the words come to life" I think this means that he wants this song to make things between him and chris better, but it's the wrong things, or his mistakes that made him want to say this and write this song.

This probably sounds farfetched but I think one more time means he had multiple one night stands with chris' gf. He spells it thnk fr th mmrs because it was said in the form of a text message. He says even though they weren't so great because when he looks back he sees them as painful memories

That is a quote from the movie closer, but here I think it means the girl says it as if she's comparing chris and pete.

That means that people think he only cares about the money and glamour of fall out boy. page six lovers refers to having lovers who are also celebrities.

So let's start from I'm going make you bend and break you. I think it means when he has sex with you he is going to make you and then it will ruin your reputation when people find out. And I hate to say it, but he wants use to have fun "in case God doesn't show". He wants the words he says to her to mean something, but it takes a wrong to make the words really mean something. It's doesn't matter who he thinks he is just "put your fingers back to the key. Then he has a one night stand which he has a lot hence "one night AND ONE MORE TIME". Which means he has done it more than one time. The girl he is with that night has a threesome with another guy, and he thinks he tasted a lot like her only sweeter. He is looking forward to getting over these one night stands, but it's hard for him to stop. He is looking forward to the future, but it gets cloudy, and hard to tell what will happen next. And then he has another "One night stand". He thinks 'in the form of crunching numbers in hotel rooms collecting page six lovers". Which means he goes to hotel rooms and pulls out his black book "page six lovers", he has six pages of lovers for his one night stands. That's what I think the song means.

The song "Thnks fr th Mmrs" is about two lovers who have broken up, but still have sex and question whether their relationship has really died, or if it's just for their needs. The line "It tastes like you, but sweeter" (as "he tastes like you, only sweeter") is spoken by Julia Roberts to Clive Owen in the 2004 film Closer. This is another reference to the Wentz-Gutierrez love triangle.

I think this song is about a guy, who had a one night stand with someone but later on has moral issues with it and is fighting a moral battle about why he feel it's wrong. And obviously it all happened in a hotel with someone he randomly met there. The only part I don't get is " he still tastes like you only sweeter" but maybe that's just FOB being weird.

This song is definitely a confessional about an affair. The singer is talking to his girlfriend about how much he likes guys more than her. Just because "He tastes like you only sweeter" is in quotes doesn't mean that it's not a reference to the exact words he was telling her at the time. Basically, he's gone gay and now likes the taste from giving his boy toy a rim job more than going down on a woman.

The song is about how he can't handle being in a comitted relationship and he's just in it for the "good times." the girl can pray for it to mean more, but to him it wont.

He means well and doesn't want to hurt anyone, but he just wants the sex. when someone asks who he thinks he is, they should know that they're getting themselves into a "one night stand" he thanks her for the memories and wants to move on, but she's bitter and says "he tastes like you but sweeter". He tries to get past all the girls he's done, but its hard and the "crystal balls cloudy except for when you look into the past one night stand."

He knows his reputation for just trying to get more girls, but he doesn't care and continues to "get out of my mind and get you out of those clothes" and that getting girls is easy when your a rock star.

Songwriters need to take care in what lyrics they choose, it can make a song take on a whole new meaning, "How did I taste" is the kind of insult you throw at someone who has "relations" with someone just after you. Or visa-versa if you are the unlucky one(seconds). Sounds to me like the singer was late to the party and got a bad taste in his mouth. Good song otherwise.

Its called Thnks Fr Th Mmrs because its in text speak, and as a joke to their record company, who asked them to shorten the names of their songs, I mean A Little Less Sixteen Candles A Little More Touch Me is a pretty long song name, and they have others equally as long

It's two people in a fight and he's saying I'm gonna make you bend and break and then saying be scared but fight back(say a prayer but let the good times roll in case god doesn't show)

They were fighting because the one guy was with his girl friend on a blog so it was saying if that's all you got put your fingers back to the keys then it says one night and one more time saying he wants one more night with her and telling jer thanks for the memories and she was telling the other guy see he tastes like you only sweeter.

Then it was I'm looking forward to the future but my eyesight it going bad like he wanted to do it more but he can't and his memories are the crystal ball. He wants to look into the future and stay with her but he couldn't he only could look back.

He was going crazy he wanted out of his mind and he wanted her out of her clothes

I think the song is kind of gay. And Mach, If you look at the lyrics, you got the words wrong. Look at the lyrics and see why it has nothing to do with hockey.
