This song is about the singer's love for Jesus, and how she wants to show the world that while she's the one making the art (her songs and lyrics), it's the Lord who has given her the ability to do so by dying for humanity's sins.

"And all the art that I supposedly create...is all a reflection of what he's already made!"

'Nuff said.

This song is about how Lacy is saying she is not perfect, and how she will not take credit for what she didn't do. She believes that this is all Gods work. While "she holds the pen" he writes the stories, the songs, and our lives. "I can't take credit for something that I can't be..."

I think that the song talks about what
God has made with her, she is talking
that God gives her his message and she
write it in her songs, but she can't take
the credit, because is from God, and also
she talks that she is not that perfect
girl who everybody needs to idolatrate
beacuse of her art, because God is who give
her the art of creating music, ok I dont
talk english at all, I'm a mexican but im
trying my best, I hope you understand my message
also this is not my account I'm sorry
