I think, although I could be wrong, that this song is about, someone thinking about suicide. Pyscologists say that suicide and homicide are very common thoughts in the average person. I think Dave is saying "He wonders what would happen if the subject did commit suicide, what would people think"? Then I think the subject is justififying their reasons for thinking it, "I fell so fast" depression, and then the subject says "Never mind there's nothing I can do" Feelings of Helplessness, I think they are reasoning with themselves. But they realize the minute we are born we begin to die. This song is awesome, but the interpretation is extremely depressing.

It sounds like he's doing something other people arent gonna approve of. but he's like hey I did it in the past, its wrong that I did it but fuck it, I'm doing it again. and suddenly talk about death? maybe he doing a drug he will probably over dose on? who knows? lol
