This song is basically about how sonny was told he was adopted. "one question with two answers I asked" is asking "who are my parents?" (referring to his birth parents and his adoptive parents.) the line "give me away" is simple. He was put up for adoption. "lie to me" is how he was lied to into thinking who his real parents are. "danny" could be one of his real parents or someone else in the sense of relating to his adoption.

Oooooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk good interpretations, but wrong song. I don't have an interpretation, but the previous interpretations about sonny moore being adopted are from a different song called "afterbirth" (yesh, one word) srry I dnt really have an interpreation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This song is amazing, and its really not that hard to understand, to me at least. Mothersound in my opinoin means music in genaral, maybe music industry. when he says mothersound what have they done to you your withering aay in the cold and he's talking about "mothersound" sonny means that bands are making music for the money and fame, and no bands are making real music. I love this song because a lot of the good bands are going mainstream, and that's what he's talking about. from first to last isn't mainstream (thank god) and he's saying that mainstream music isn't realy. maybe not REAL music, but not real from the heart. I mean people are making songs today about like the stupidst things (thats why I hate rap)and heroine is about the best album in this world. because its real. The music and sonnys vocals are amazing and they talk about real things. Sonny has been made fun of so much because "he has a huge nose and he's short and has stuby fingrs" WTH sonnys the most amazing guy on this earth. and sonny was bulimic ( world war me) and he found out he was adopted when the writing of heroine started. I hope this gives you a little bit of an idea.....
