The song is an anthem for rebellion. It's about someone who is fed up with all of the lame excuses given by people and is fed up with people who whine and complain when they live the good life. It's a song that describes how a middle class teenager could feel about the stuck-up people in the world around him or her who treat them with disrespect, and act like the world revolves around them.
