I think it's asking the narrator's lover if she/he is willing to give everything up for the love of the narrator. It's also got allusions to a Romeo and Juliet esque thing in the sense that I don't think that people wanted them to be together, so they killed themselves.

This song's name is really Join Me in Death. If you had bought the Razorblade Romance CD, you would know this. Any ways, I agree. I think it is about a person that is willing to give anything, and everything for this girl. That is mostly what Ville Valo's music is about.

No one is a dumb ass, of coarse its asking someone to die for love, but in the love metal archives dvd, there was an interview where ville said it was like a modern day romeo and Juliet story, which it is, because romeo and Juliet died for love. They joined each other in death.
