In the lyric book that I have for the CD Silence in Black and White, it says this EXACTLY -" The title of this song is pretty self - explanatory for anyone who has ever been in a touring band. You have to put your entire life on standby to try your hardest. You have to give up some of the thing you love for awhile to have the chance of a lifetime. This particularly shines through in the lyrics " Time to let got of all I know, and break our hearts in stride " This was one of the first songs that started to show a more cynical edge. But in every lyric I write, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel that this song is a good introduction to Hawthorne Heights, because it has parts both dark and light." All of that was written by JT.
