Ok now the girl left him so why he wants her back and the part when he said (( And when she said she wants somebody else I hope you know that's she doesn't mean you )) somebody = that's him the guy that the girl left him right ...
and same part these words when he said it is it to the girl face or her new BF

My take is ... This song is between three people. The main couple, a man and a woman. The woman cheated on the main man and this song is more or less the narrator talking to the man with whom his significant other cheated. They are teetering on the line of breakup, and she is exploring other options. But the man she is still with is talking to a man she has been with essentially telling him no matter what happens between them he will still love her and this new man isn't up to her standards "shes doesn't mean you". In the end I feel the girl is moving on and this is simply his last plea to convince her to stay.

I think its about a guy liking a girl but not saying anything to her because she is a close friend and they tell each other everything and he wants to be with her but she is already with someone who he thinks isnt good enough for her. Thats my take

It's the male best friend who loves his best friend and she who is a silly billy is constantly being hurt by other men and there could have been a previous relationship or a previous build to one 'come round when you don't have to run'
