this song is about two men, having an argument and one of them "threw down the glove" and the other one "made the mistake of picking it up" thus meaning they have a duel:

the one that got challenged know he doesn't have a chance, and then the duel begins ^^ and then he dies.

This song was about his son coming home from school and he showed his a dad a picture of his friend Lucy in the sy with diamonds. He said that would make a good song title!!

Think about it people would John lie about this? I think not he was a pretty ohnest person now if you want a drug song than listen to "I am The walrus" I LOVE the Beatles ok!!i would def. know plus my uncle was a druggy!! so THINK ABOUT IT
