//janes addiction got there name they was all staying in a house and there was a herion addict living there so everythime something went wrong like the tv came up missing they would blame it on janes addiction

Jane is definitely a heroin fiend. However, I my take is that Sergio is her pimp, not her dealer.

Never could quite figure out if Sergio is her pimp or drug dealer. I lean towards pimp just because she talks about only knowing if someone wants her, i.e. being a prostitute. Either way 'Jane' is definitely a heroin addict. Great song.

Sergio is her dealer. She fucks him for drugs. but she hasnt fucked him in while - owes him. hides the tv she don't owe him. She has fucked him but knows bastard will take her tv. hates him but wants her fix so says tell him wait for her if he comes around. heroin, coke, whatever her addiction is. She wants go away to spain - start her life over. going kick tomorrow - promise to herself she is done with her addiction. dinner in her pocket is a bag of whatever her addiction is. She never had love and is confuses if love is feeling good, then love is that bag in her pocket.....

sergio is her pimp shes a whore the wig is a wig she would wear on the job and she feels naked without it because shes on the streets so much shes more used to wearing it than not wearing it. tragic.

Here are the actual facts....1. jane is not NOW nor was she EVER a prostitute.

2. Sergio was her 18 year old Salvadorian boy friend who lived one street over..(not St. Andrews.) he did deal drugs though. He was also a bit of a control freak and was a little "hands on"

3. Jane just liked to wear wigs. end of story.

4. "she can't hit"....she really fucked up the veins in her arm. couldn't hit. Sometimes she'd eat it. freeze it and snort it...etc

5. She wanted to go live in Spain with her mom I think..she had moved there

6. "I don't like them anyway"....everyone else in the house she lived in who talked shit behind her back and voted her out.

7. SHE IS NOT NOW NOR HAS SHE EVER BEEN A HOOKER. She is also one of the sweetest, kindest most caring people I know. Fantastically intelligent, funny and loving.
