I sang it at a vows renewal ceramony,I thought it was appropriate...but my fiance' didn't quiet get the meaning. Someday it will dawn on her just what was meant by those lyrics.I just learned the real meaning of the song... but it still could be interpreted as a love song for commited devotion for the one you love.

this song is abot jim's dead daughter as I understand it he wrote right after her death.
