"Hear You Me" was originally written by Jim and performed by Jim's side project, Go Big Casino. At one of GBC's performances, he dedicated "Hear You Me" to Mykel and Carli, two people who had started the Weezer fan club in 1994 and passed away after a car accident in 1997. Mykel and Carli not only helped out Weezer, but helped out a lot of bands and were kind to all. Hear You Me also happens to be the title of the compilation CD put out by Vast Records as a tribute to Mykel and Carli.

I have absolutely no idea who this guy (Jimmy Eat World) is except for this song. This song reminds me of a very close friend that I lost recently. I was the new kid and she hung out with me when nobody else would. Stupid drunk drivers. I LOVE THIS SONG :)
