This song means simply that all the crap you go through in your life helps you in the future. You don't react as badly to bad times when you've gone through them before.
However this song itself is about a girl(What song isn't?) He(The singer) has been rejected or cheated on by girls before and has been hurt but he can deal with it better now. Even though he can deal with it, she isn't coming on to him.
The rest of the song is mainly him telling her to get a move on, that he likes her and she might as well make a move because he won't be hurt as easily anymore.

Song means that life throws some crazy shit at you but you got to learn to look passed it and in the end your stronger because of it.

This song is about going past all the distractions in life.
And because of that, it will make him stronger.
"Don't kill me, can only make me stronger"
He doesn't mean actually killing, but more in a psychological way. His mother died before and that's made him a stronger person, and the tabloids made him a stronger person because they've been on his case for a long time.

It's always hard when someone feels that they don't wanna get hurt that they put a shield up to guard there heart so it would be easy on them on not to get hurt but when you let your guard down your hurt but it makes us stronger then before and we learn from the mistakes
