It's a song about being seduced by, a past lover when you've already moved on to a new relationship: "You got a lot of nerve coming here when I'm still with him / I can't love you, it isn't fair"
Feelings towards past lover are stronger than feelings towards current lover: "If I had one wish, you'd be it"
Past lover took her for granted: "He never really saw me or waited when we were hooking up / he'd never last"
Pleads to make love once more: "Make it to me again and again"
Closing lyric, "If I leave him / would you be there? / 'cause maybe you could be mine all the time" she contemplates leaving current relationship if he can guarantee they can get back together.
