You cannot serve 2 masters at the same time.you will favour one n despise the other. gaga favours the evil one in her songs n deceives the masses with her mouth that she's a christian. Even a fool can see that. So if you can't, I fail to describe you. She has willingly chosen the path of distraction. The fame is good n seems to last forever but one day everything will end n when the mercy doors of the Almighty GOD close, I really feel sorry for all those who handed over their souls to the devil,just like gaga. I have been reading all of your comments and beliefs on this song's meaning. I think that some people are so headstrong in their religion that if anyone talks about it, or sings about it, in a way that could possibly derade it, then they become overly defensive and irrational when they talk about it.
We all get it. It's your religion, its what you base your life on. But, you also can't deny the fact that there are other beliefs and views that many other people believe in.
Lady Gaga, however poorly the metaphor was made, was still just that; a metaphor. She was only comparing it to her love life and her relationships. Not as a literal way of attempting to take out religion, or christianity. That's ludicrous, to think that Lady Gaga would, or could do something like that, when she, herself, is religious.
Based off of your comments, I think some of you might have gotten heated over her naming the song "Judas". This is ridiculous. Get a life and stop criticizing a love song. -

My interpretation would have to be that she is comparing her relationships in a biblical sense and teaching her little monsters not to trust one thatcomes across as a Judas. Also to the person who said HIM means the devil you are obviously to incompetent.to relise.that she is talking to transgenders and drag kings and queens. One should really look up their information before accusing a innocent woman of satanic practices. Lady GaGa is my role model and I.look up to her for her values on equality. Read your.own bible because it says that you should not judge because that is gods job. There fore all of you are living in sin. I myself anlm a wiccan and can relate to her music even though she is a Christian. Religion should nit matter. I cannot stand how ignorant people are. Lady Gaga is not saying that she wants to end the christian religion or anything like that! The song Judas is simply a metaphor for her past relationships, and how she knows that she is choosing the wrong people. Judas stands for the negative relationships she has had, and Jesus is the positive relationships. She has chosen Judas even though she knows that it is not the wisest decision. I can't stand reading comments from "christian" people that are completely judgmental and ridiculous. The people who preach about loving all people are the ones that judge and belittle.

Gaga is in NO way satanic. She is a Christian. 'Judas' is in NO way refering to the man who betrayed Jesus. Judas means "Someone who betrays". By "A king without a crown." she is refering to someone who demands much. So she's saying that she is still in love with an ex even though he's demanding and cheating.

Lady GaGa did this song so her fans could follow the light and not turn back to darkness , honestly when I heard this song it brought me closer to Jesus yes it may sound funny but it really did I pray every night read the bible everyday etc. And she does believe in God she's said it in an interview and she's terrified of the devil so for you people that are saying "she's Satan" your W R O N G!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She wanna choose between Good(Jesus) and Evil (Judas) , then she went with the wrong guy (Judas) ,after she found out the he is using her , she left him , and went back to the good guy (Jesus) and she asked for his forgivness , he forgave her , but people still look at her like a "Whore" and thats why they stoned her.

the point of the song has two diffrent concepts and many diffrent ones if you have your own version in which you do not want to think of 'judas' in any other way 1st-it is symbolising that lady Gaga believe's that everyone should be forgiven for there sin's even though it may not seem this way she is trying to point this out that nobody should be punished diffrently because everybody sin's once in there life therefore she play's Mary magdalin (i'm very sorry if that is wrong) in the video and jesus have forgave judas for his sin against jesus. while that is one way the 2nd way is- that lady gaga is pointing out that she is a christian and that she follows her religion but she does love judas as he is what keeps her intresting and a bit evil the same as everybody else she points this out while singing ' jesus is my vertue but judas is the demon i cling to'.

WOW! Really? All this discussion over a five minute song? For all of ya'll Christians you should know better. In the end the only one to judge is God. Also, how did sexual preferences get into this? I think that everyone is entiled to their opinions but they should keep them to themselves. Anyway none of us out here knows what the song is really about. Lady Gaga believes in god, but which god exactly? Surely not the father of Jesus. I'm sure she believes in Jesus, but it takes a heck of a lot more than believing to get to heaven, and that goes with any religion. It also takes discernment and religious discipline, which Gaga seems to be short on both. Gaga is a great performer, she has talent, but she is a devastating example of what a relationship with God should be, which IS the core of Christianity.

Just to clarify,
Judas is the one who kissed Jesus on the cheek right before he sold Jesus to be crucified. Peter (I believe) was the one who denied him then later hung himself because he realized Jesus' prediction had come true and his guilt leaded to his suicide. -

Well, I've always believed that the song means that she is human, that she's a "Holy Fool", but she's still in love with Judas. In other words, Jesus is the one I want to be with/learn from, rather than Judas, who betrayed him. We all have a good and bad side and her bad side is saying she is still in love with Judas. Meaning Jesus is the good, Judas is the bad. We're/she is human, we're not perfect. I'm just glad she admits that she does believe in Jesus. It's also about forgiving those who harm you. That's how I interpret it.

Seriously. So many people brainwashed by Lady Gaga. If you want to say that Lady Gaga is not devil worshiping, look at her videos! Stop believing in stuff that are so blatantly obvious. She does the "666" hand sign, her song when played backwards clearly shows that she worships the Devil. And Lucifer, the Devil, was in charge of singing music to God before he was casted down. Obviously he makes use of music to brainwash people into following stars that they admire, when the stars are actually doing disgusting things. Lady Gaga's music videos clearly shows that she worships the Devil and she's trying to make people to become puppets of the Devil. Stop being fooled. I was once a big fan of Lady gaga, but one day, my friend posted a YouTube video decoding Lady Gaga's actions, and thank God I learnt from that and stop listening to music that are "good to the ear but brainwashes your mind". You have no way of telling whether a singer is lying. They are perfectly trained to hide their facial expressions.
