The lyrics are pretty straight forward. Its about a man who works long hours to support his wife who is cheating on him. The line "I open my front door, hear my back door slam," means when the husband comes home through the front door, the wife's lover goes out the back door. This is my all time favorite Zeppelin song. I've always thought this to be the definitive "MAN" song.
