She wrote this song because of her childhood past and how her father was aggressive to her mother.

This song seems to be about Lindsay Lohan's father, how he was abusive towards her mother, and how he left her family. Its a very sad song, and many people can relate to this because of their own family issues.

She wrote this song because of her dad. She was on TRL one day and she said its mainly because of all the things that happend in her life are in the song and mostly everything in this video happend to her, and her little sister..which is one of the reasons her little sister is in the video.

Even though I don't like her this song is so sad. Shi is sing to her dad asking why he left her and how much pain she is in. She also questions if he ever loved her because she doesn't see it for herself. She loves him but doesn't know why he left.

this song is about a fire crotch making incoherent ramblings on her cell phone and then runnign around with paris and britany snorting coke and going to rehab. Then her life starts on the downward spiral, and I swoop in to save her. She becomes really beautiful, and starts wearing panties. we move into the australian outback, and fly our solar powered hellicopter to ibiza dressed as lllamas so the press doesn't recognize us. we bring peace to the middle east and have beautiful children. Then, after 20 beautiful years of marriage, we begin to have problems. The little things start to eat away at our love. over the course of five years, we can no longer look at each other. communication breaks down. completely. we can no longer stand to be in the same room together. but we stay together. for the children. after they all grow up and leave, we decide it would be best for us to just leave each other and stay friends. we meet in paris on our anniversary every year, but its not the same. nothing is ever the same......

This song has a false meaning. Her "abuse" consisted of her father not buying her the Ferrari she wanted and bought her a Porsche instead.

i can definately relate to this song because my relationship with my father isn't the best. 'i wait for the postman to bring me a letter' explains waiting for some sort of contact from her father. 'why'd you have to go?' is her questioning why her father would treat her and her family the way he did. throughout the song, linsday shows she misses what she had with her dad, and wishes to have it back. it's a very depressing song and divorce is hard on anyone.
