This song is about an internet site called "iconoclast".

Just after Dimebag Darrell's death (Pantera, damageplan guitarist), a blog on Iconoclast was posted called "Aesthetics Of Hate - dimebag darrell, RIP and good riddance"

It basically disrespected Dimebag, pantera, and metal music in general, and this song is about Rob Flynn's reaction to the blog.

Most lyrics are pretty self explanatory, Rob Flynn absolutely hated the website, and the guy who wrote it.

"the words I read on the screen made me fucking sick"

"Nothing is over, nothing's through, 'til we bury you!!"

"Iconoclast, I hope you BURN, BURN IN HELL!!"

I went to see Machine Head last night (20/11/2007) and this is what he said that this song was about....

it's about Dimebag!

Or at least it's dedicated to him.

Rob Flynn said that it was a song to realise anger about Dimebag's death.

I vividly remember him saying it, because not long after it I got smacked in the face by an angry dimebag fan...
