Manson is expressing the pain of breaking-up with a woman he loved turn on him . He wishes he could fix the speed of pain. The lyrics go "When you want it, goes away too fast. When you hate it, always seems too last." He still want's pain in his life, but only when he want's in. He says"The Crack Inside Your Fucking Heart Me," saying she will always regret turning her back on his love. One of the key verse is "I Wish I Could Sleep, But I Can't Lay On My Back, Cause There's A Knife, For Every Day, That I've Known You." Which explains the betrayal of the woman. This betrayal was so bitter and hurtful, Manson see's everyday spent with her a waste and another knife in his back. The last verse appears is "I Hope At Least We Will Die Holding Hands," Even though she betrayed him, he stills cares about her and wants to die with her. It's a great song, one of Manson's finest!
