This song is seriously the truest social commentary I've ever heard.
Let me start by saying: no, people, he isn't at a party. He's alive.
The song speaks for itself, generally, but oh well.
"you don't need to talk to look good."
it's talking about the fact that all anyone cares about anymore is appearance, not what you think or say.
"pardon the intrusion,
could we leave before this gets bad?
I might smash up all the windows
and set fire to the curtains."
he's fed up with the way society functions today--so much so that he feels like destroying everything in sight.
