This song is about loving someone who doesen't love you back. It could be a boy/girl friend, favorite relative or friend. Love in vain. We've all fell victim to it at some point. The singer is trying to apologize for not loving a girl back but assuring that he wants her and cares for her but simply cant find it in his heart (not very big) to love her because his heart has been stolen by the girl who left him on a stormy night.

I think this song could be about going though so much crap and being affraid to love somebody or someone close to you dying and then moving on with someone else who you care and need and want but in your heart you ain't ready to love that person

This song is plain and simple . meat wants sex but the girl wants commitment and meat boldly tells her that he wants her, he needs her , but he's never gonna love her because he is here for the sex and in his street smart world two out of three ain't bad.

At first, I thought he was talking about a different woman in the last verse (there's only one girl that I will ever love), but I think it's about the same girl. If you notice in the first verse, he says "but you've been cold to me so long, I'm crying icycles instead of tears", and "I poured it on and I poured it out. I tried to show you just how much I care". I just think its a couple that has tried to make it work for a long time and he has finally realized he feels the same way that she used to feel. She was the one that left the first time. She came back to him, and now the tide has turned. The bridge of the song-"you'll never find your gold on a sandy beach..." tells they were never right for each other. He can't be someone he's not, etc.

This one is too easy, he says it right in the lyrics. He met the love of his life and she left him, so now he can't love anyone else because he is still in love with his ex who left him, and so he is refusing to say I love you to any other woman even though he still cares for them.
