This song is pretty much how nuclear weapons have advanced and as soon as the world gets into a big enough struggle, they will use them and it will end the world.

i think this is about "treating others the way you want to be treated" ("Do unto others as they've done to you...") but little by little we treat each other with more hostility until finally we destroy the world.
