"And I know I don't deserve this/The capacity to feel" "I sat behind the wheel and watched the raindrops/As they gathered on the windshield/And raced down into the humming motor" - the raindrops running down the windshield is probably the best metaphor for crying ever. Mineral are a hell of a lot like sunny day real estate and probably the saddest sounding band you'll hear in a long time, but damn they're good lyrically.
