Me and my friend sat down one day and was listening to this song. The lyrics say it all! I'm not for sure, but I beleive I have this song cracked! I beleive it's about Dime Bag Darrell and when he was shot! At the end of the song, it also has a solo performed by Darrell before his murder! "Uncle Sam taught him to shoot maybe a little too well!" The man who shot Darrell was an ex marine. "His brother watched him do it!" Darrell's brother was the drummer of Damageplan when he got shot. It all falls together and makes perfect sense.....CRACKED!

I went and saw nickelback in charleston WV in March and they explained it all on stage it was written for that guy from Pantera. I forget his name but when he was shot on stage..this is kind of a tribute song to him.

This song is about dimebag darrel one of the best guitar players ever. He was guitarist for pantera then afgter their breakup in 200 he became the guitarist of damageplan. He was shot on Dec 9 2004. By a faggot. I hate that man. Dime was the best guitarist of our era. And I thank nickelback for seeing that.

Yep. Tribute to Dimebag Darrell & Pantera. Avenged Sevenfold did one too- "Betrayed". Both songs are excellent.
---- Nathan Gale. The son of a bitch killed music.
"The day the music died". Amen.
