   It's about an ex coming back into the picture after they have finally realised you're happy without them. They've realised what they have given up. The ex thinks they can just walk back in, she thinks that he is trying to make her jealous, but actually he just wants to get on with his new relationship. Although he has somebody else, part of him still breaks when he sees her wanting him back. she still knows how to mess with his mind, but isn't letting it get to him because he is done with all the heartbreak and pain she brought him.

   Its about a boy who really liked a girl but she wouldn't give him a chance even after he tried everything. Finally he decides to move on and finds another girl he is happy with.    It's about a girl who loves a guy only when he has a different girlfriend, maybe out of jealousy. He used to love her-hence the lyrics "I slept on your doorstep, begging for one chance."    It's about the boy realizing that his ex, or his crush for a long time "wants" him as he finds another girl. He understands that she doesn't really love him, she just doesn't want to see him with anyone else. The girl only tries to break his heart, just because she knows she has the power to do so.    The song Taken by One Direction is about a previous relationship the boy had shared with a girl. It had gone wrong & they split up. Now that the boy is happy and moved on with another girl, his ex-girlfriend is trying to get him back, and he doesn't understand why. - @hugme_horan
