I agree, its obviousley about Bush. But just to elaborate, paragraph 1 raises the question of how Bush can do things in a strange and maybe frightening way yet there is no change is being brought about. Paragraph 2 talks about how Bush looks so confident about himself yet he has to surround himself with his army. It states that he is not a true leader he is a "Texas leaguer." He obviousley should have been caught but he just happened to make it by chance into his position of power. It says that bush swings for the fence and gets lucky with a strike.

Just as he was swinging for a homerun with the war and got lucky with a second chance, or a third or a fourth because this guy could not hit a homerun. The only thing keeping him going is the running count and the texas leaguers he hits ocasionally. "Drilling for fear, makes the job simple" this is obviously a double meaning. It refers to drilling fear into the people of this world for the ability to drill oil in the countrys which he is attacking to calm these falsified fears. It also indicates that bush is born into power and believes that he has earned it..."Born on third, thinks he got a triple".

Paragraph 3 The chorus refering to the darkness bush is spreading through the world. In some parts of the world the darkness is the lies and sterotypes he is creating. In other parts of the world it is the people and places he is destroying to collect his dark oil to black out the citys. The black oil which powers the lights of the citys in america. Paragraph 4 This chorus maybe the optamistic people supporting bush, thinking about what they will say when the day comes that things get better...or maybe when things get worse. Paragraph 5 This looks complex, but it all boils down to the oil tycoons doing the aloof multiplication...(how many soldiers will have to die to get how many dollars in texas tea). Its saying they have no idea of the suffering they have caused because they have no emotion or connection to the war asside from the personial gain. "With onionskin plausibility of life,..." and then the music of a soldierbeing burried to confirm there is in fact no plausibility of life. The ending is just the repeating chorus.
