This song is about how America is into every other countries' affairs and how America must always be the one to lead and to influence every one else's choices. This song is more of a sarcastic bash at America's big nose in everyone's business. From what one can tell, the lyrics are stating that America is this all powerful leader in everything, though it forces it's culture into everyone else's life.

To the above poster, no. I don't think this is about America "sticking their nose in everyone's business". I think it is referring to most of the European cultures adopting the American culture into their own and in the process loosing site of their own. Instead of bashing America, I think they are casting the shameful finger at the countries that are not preserving their own cultures. Sure, having a few McDonalds and Burger Kings is inevitable when a franchise like that is so succesful, but it's up to the governments of certain nations whether they want to adopt American ways or create their own.

To Icer22x: correct! .. exept the fact, that every culture in the world is mentioned .. even asia, africa, etc .. my tip: .. watch the musicvideo .. the pictures from the video are close to the meaning of the lyrics ..

I am German and agree totally with the first interpretation. The sarcasm used in the song is typical of Rammstein: They are singing a song obviously against America and do it only part in English, knowing that American fans will sing along while they do not know the real meaning. It is the same with the new single "Pussy": Thought part in German language, this is especially for the American listeners - the German words used in the text are known to and understood by all Americans. They can sing along. This combined with Rammstein knowing that the text is too obscene to ever be airplayed in the U.S. makes up a perfect scandal and therefore perfect public attention.
