These lyrics are so clear to me. I have two boys and my husband is always looking in the past and wishing the time back when they were babies and toddlers. I always tell him to live in the moment. Every age comes with new adventures and milestones. This song hits that point perfectly for me. It is about all those small moments that are happening right now that should be enjoyed instead of dwelling on the past, good or bad. Your gonna miss the now if your looking at the then and hanging on to the past! Just let it be what it was and take in every second right now!

I know this song is from one of my favorite movies, "Meet The Robinsons," and this song fits it so perfectly. I think it's about just living on the spur of the moment and making the best of life, and to just love life.

It's about letting go of somebody and leaving it, when he says, "the hardest part is over, let it end" How many times have we gone back into the same mess relationship? When your in a bad relationship your clarity is often a mess so goes the lyric "let your clarity define you in the end". There is more to life than being in a relationship, so this song tells you to enjoy life beyond that. The song tells you it's okay to let go and move on. In these small hours. This song can be taken as a more broad message, but I am convinced its a relationship song much like most of Rob's music is.

I believe this song has a very clear meaning; simply live life to its fullest. The line "Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder" is simply indicating that no matter what troubles you have or problems, or things that stress you out, you should simply let them go. Things like that are just another bump in the road as you go on with life. Sometimes the present seems a lot worse, but when you look back on these little things, no one will remember them and if you 'let it go' then so will you. As the lyrics show, in the end when we look back in our memories, we don't exactly remember what happened, or what was said, but rather how we felt during that moment. It shows that we should forget the bad, scary, and embarrassing moments in our life and that we should be remembering the good things, and living our life in the present and not the past. Very beautiful song I think, it's great inspiration, especially on a bad day. The light tone and lyrics really help you to just forget things and think about the good things that has happened or will happen in life. Life is too good and too short to worry about petty things.

To me, it feels like this song is saying to enjoy every moment, especially the special, tiny moments of your life, the times where everything seems perfect. those small tiny moments that make every other moment worth it. But i also relate to it in a second way. A friend of mine is currently fighting a cancer with a short while left to live. Every moment she suffers I wonder how long more she has to endure all of this. It pains me to watch every moment of that. I'm starting to wonder if this song relates to them as well. As if heaven is where they are and life was the hard part in which is now over. And as a spirit, maybe all they have left is their memories on earth, during life. And as they look back maybe they see all those happy moments that mad life a joy.
