I think this song is about a girl who is constantly jeered at and called a lesbian. She most likely has a very close friend who people say is her lover, even though they're just best friends. One night at a club, a guy who is always on her tail and insulting her asks her to dance with him, because even though he calls her a dyke and such, he really has a crush on her. She turns all the insults back on him, and says she'd rather dance with her friend. She gets her chance to jeer at him, and flirt with him at the same time. 'so what's it gonna take, silver shadow believer? Spock rocker with your dirty eyes.' she ultimately rejects him with his own logic. 'if what they say is true, you're a boy and I'm a girl. I will never fall in love with you.'

Wow. That makes... So much sense.
I've always wondered what the hell they were talking about in that song. I like it because the words string together relatively well and the tune is catchy. Well, thank you for shining a whole new light on the situation.

When I listen to this song.
It get that it's about sex or drugs.
And She is just saying how she can have a good time and how she is playing hard to get.
I don't think she is gay or anything. I think she is just using the boy.

I think the songs about lesbians and cocaine, but that's just my interpretation of the lyrics. As a lyricist though, I feel obligated to inform you that you're all right. It's just how YOU see the song.

This song is about inter-racial sex. "We're gonna ride the race cars" refers to the cars as sex, and race as, well race. "Silver Shaddow believer" means silver = white, shaddow = black, believer. "Your a boy, I'm a girl, I will never fall in love with you" refers to the stigma placed on inter-racial love, boy = derogatory name for blackman. This is just how I interpret it, I can see the coke references also.
